B.A., California University

Fourteen years ago I started my teaching
career at The Oakland School which lasted for nine years.
I left for five years teaching at two other schools.
When I found out that the Oakland School was looking
for a science instructor, I immediately applied for
the position. The teaching environment is much friendlier
and the students are a great deal more interesting.
When I was called to tell me the job was mine, my wife
and I celebrated. She always said, "I was happiest
at the O School."
I hope to do a great deal of hands
on, buit I also would like to have the students express
their own ideas about theories, laws and principles
taught in science. Experiment, Think,
and Hypothesize.
I have been married for thirty six
years, have three children, and ten grandchildren; most
of them spend more time at our house than they do at
their own, but the wife and I love it.
After working for inferior schools,
I'm delighted to be back where all the students' needs
come first and very much look forward to teaching here
for many years to come.
