Daren Stanchak, Class of 2002, authors contribution to recent publication, A Doughboy's Tale. . . and More Lawrenceville Stories.

The authors and editor, James Wudarczyk, Jude Wudarczyk, Allan Becer, and Daren Stanchak, have compiled a collection of essays about the history of Lawrenceville. The collection of stories reveals the events and personalities that shaped Lawrenceville's past and present.

"Henry Ford's Visit to Lawrenceville" by Daren Stanchak relates a 1934 visit by the auto industry icon. Daren explains Ford's interest in a Penn Avenue home thought to be the birthplace of Stephen Foster.

The book is published by the Lawrenceville Historical Society, P.O. Box 4015 (Arsenal Station), Pittsburgh, PA 15201-0015.
