Class of 2011 Graduated on Sunday,
May 29, At Heinz Memorial Chapel.
The eleven seniors of the Class of
2011, dressed in their green and white graduation gowns
and mortarboards, took their seats in the front pews
to the traditional Pomp and Circumstance. The
class was introduced to the large crowd of family and
friends by Director of Academics, Jack King. Senior
Allie Sanchez reflected on her school memories and thanked
the school staff in her remarks and Senior Evan Flaherty
introduced the commencement speaker, Dr. Richard Lee
who is CEO of the RJ Lee Group. In a meaningful speech,
Dr. Lee drew comparisons with the graduates and his
own experiences that evolved into sage advice for his
audience.
The Firenza Duo played several selections,
including Bach's Aria. Ushers were Juniors
Diamond Ware and Joseph Schevtchuk.
Rich Lee presented diplomas to the
graduates.

Collegebound graduates have been accepted
by: University of Pittsburgh, Community College of Allegheny
County, Allegheny College, Temple University, Hood College,
Clarion University of Penna., Bard College, University
of Puget Sound, Landmark College, Westminster College,
Weaton College, Point Park University, Edinboro University
of Penna., and Kenyon College.
Three members of the class have volunteered
for military service with the Israel Defense Force,
U. S. Navy and the U. S. Marine Corps. We wish them
good fortunes and safe journeys.
Members of this class have documented
over 1,500 hours of volunteer service in their communities.
