Society of Women Engineers Award Certificates.

Katie Graham, Paige Fletcher, Maddy Towner

The Pittsburgh Section of the Society of Women Engineers has presented the 2010 Certificate of Merit Award to three Oakland School students. The graduating senior, Paige Fletcher, is a recipient of a $75.00 scholarship gnerously sponsored by the southwestern Pennsylvania Engineering Outreach organization.

One of the major objectives of the SWE is to inform young women, their parents and the general public of the opportunities to women in engineering. The Merit Awards recognize potental future women engineers.
