Art Students Win Grand Prize

Blick Art Materials has announced the winners of Blick's 29th Annual Linoleum Block Print Contest. Although no individual student's submitted work won any of the 5 prizes, the Oakland School is the winner of the Grand Prize: Blick 906 Model II Etching Press.

With a retail value of $1,675.00, the press is a welcome addition to the art studio as it enables even more ambitious art projects for students.

The gear driven press easily pulls etchings, dry points, engravings, collagraphs, linoleum block prints, and paper print lithographs. Calibrated pressure adjusters allow you to see exactly how much pressure is being applied. The 41/2" diameter lathe-turned solid steel rollers are adjustable.
