Forensics Workshops at RJ LeeGroup

Students participated in an all-school field trip to the RJ Lee Group in Monroeville on Thursday, November 18. Divided into smaller working groups, students engaged in hands-on experiments in the areas of soil investigation, blood identification, fiber evidence, and gunshot residue. The 2-hour workshops were very educational and led by forensic experts. Especially interesting were introductions and use of the polarized light microscopes and the infrared spectroscope. Our gratitude to the RH Lee employees and leadership in hosting our field trip.
